The Rector of Divine Mercy Catholic Church at Okponglo in Accra, Rev. Fr. Destiny Amenuvor has been appointed a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Marshallan Relief and Development Services (MAREDES). His appointment makes him the 14th member of the Board. The decision to invite him to be a member was taken at the 31st meeting of the Board held in Accra.
As subsequently directed by the Executive Director of the Board, Sir Kt Derx Baffour, a formal letter dated December 11, 2019, has been delivered to Father. He has since confirmed his acceptance to be a member of the Board.
The Board Chairperson, R L Sister Elizabeth Anderson Yebuah, on behalf of the Board, has congratulated him and urged him to put his expertise and advice at the disposal of the NGO to help it in its efforts to support the needy and vulnerable in society.
Father Amenuvor replaces Rev. Fr. Bonaventure Quaidoo on the Board.
