A newly constituted board of Trustees for the Marshallan Security Trust (MST) has been inaugurated at the Holy Spirit Cathedral in Accra.

The six-member board, chaired by Worthy Bro. D.D. Dawlah include Sir Kt. Bro Anthony Apaloo, Bro Stephen Amegashie, RL Sis Adelaide Mary Benneh, RL Sis Doris Bramson and RL Sis Cynthia Lassey-Ibrahim.

The Supreme Knight Sir Kt Ernest Amoako Arhen, who swore in the board members, exhorted the memIMG_5985bers to put in place good strategies that would encourage more brothers and sisters of the Noble Order to sign on to the scheme.

He reiterated that one of main objectives of the Scheme was to inculcate in brothers and sisters a savings culture with a view to providing additional income for their needs and also to supplement their future pension benefits.

He expressed his disappointment that out of 115 courts, only fourteen were currently contributing to the Scheme.

He said that in the light of those statistics, it was imperative for members of the new board to come out with innovative ways to make the Scheme attractive to brothers and sisters of the Noble Order.

Sir Kt Amoako-Arhen assured the board members of the support of the Supreme Council and the Grand Court to help them succeed in their new role.

Also present at the short ceremony was Sir Kt. Derx Baffour, who initiated the MST when he was the Supreme Knight.

In a short address, Sir Kt Baffour expressed his delight at the inauguration board of trustees.

He stated that he had every faith in members and expressed the hope that members would bring their rich experiences and diverse expertise to expand the scheme and make it sustainable.

The Board Chairman, Worthy Bro D.D. Dawlah, on behalf of members, expressed appreciation to the Supreme Council and Grand Court for the confidence reposed in them.

He pledged that they would discharge their duties diligently in furtherance of their objectives of the Marshallan Security Trust and for the good of the Noble Order of the Knights and Ladies of Marshall.
