Santasi to do one-year administration – Supreme Knight

THE Supreme Knight, Sir Kt Bro. Ernest Amoako-Arhen, has granted a special dispensation to Council 98, Santasi, to do a one-year administration.

He described the Council as dynamic with youthful talents who must be encouraged to go through the chair as Grand Knights.

He explained that the lack of space for brothers to put their talents and resources to good use at the Councils level, often discouraged some of them from taking active part in Marshallan activities and to the disadvantage of the councils.

Sir Kt Amoako-Arhen announced this when he installed the fourth administration of Council 98, Santasi on Saturday, December 5, 2015.

Bro. Dr. Dr. Samuel Bert Boadi-Kusi was installed as the fourth Grand Knight with Bro. Gregory Kello as Deputy Grand Knight.

In attendance were Sir Kt. Bro. Prof. Dr. Dr. Sir George Wireko-Brobbey, Sir Kt Bro. Fosuaba Mensah Banahene, W/Bro Charles Cobb, Supreme Propagandist, W/Bro Albert Salia, Supreme IT officer, W/Bro Dr Charles Oti-Boateng, Assistant Supreme Tertiary Co-ordinator as well as W/Bros Henry Osei Antwi, Assistant Supreme Communications Officer and W/Bro David Frank Yawson, Assistant Supreme Propagandist, who were the installation secretary and guard respectively.

In his acceptance speech, Bro Dr. Dr. Boadi-Kusi, announced the setting up of a charity fund to be used for special charity works in the name of the Council.

He pledged GHc500 to the fund and appealed to brothers to voluntarily donate to the fund.

Bro. Dr. Dr. Boadi-Kusi urged brothers to also endeavor to visit each other to keep the brotherliness even outside the Council chamber.

On the use of social media platform, he urged Marshallans to be very decorous in the use of all social platforms.

“We stand the temptation of being indiscipline especially when we share the same platforms with senior officers. Let us be mindful that written text is subject to so many interpretations and guard ourselves from being misinterpreted and also avoid abusing the rights of others on such platforms,” he said.
