THE Grand Knight of Council 14, Obuasi, Bro Hubert Osei-Wusuansah and the Noble Lady of Court 7, Sis Catherine Osei-Wusuansah, have pledged to complete the construction of the Temple of the Obuasi Council and Court.
In their installation speeches on December 12, 2015, the Grand Knight and Noble Lady, who incidentally are husband and wife, also proposed to the Council and Court to allow the Catholic Church to use the facilities at the temple for the conduct of Masses and other church related activities.
The immediate past Supreme Knight, Sir Kt Ekow Paintsil installed Bro Osei-Wusuansah as the Grand Knight while Most Respected Lady Dame Theresa Pobee installed Sis Osei-Wusuansah as the Noble Lady.
Bro Osei-Wusuansah, who was installed the 29th Grand Knight of Council 14, further suggested the establishment of a a pre-School to be run by a religious society of our dear Reverend Sisters.
“The beginning of such a school is envisaged to lead to the establishment of a school, which undoubtedly will make Council 14 and Court 7 a financial pillar of our Noble Order,” he added.
He said during their reign, they intended to strengthen the Obuasi Junior Order so that the adult council and court ‘will never die’.
Beyond pursuing programmes to strengthen the spirituality of brothers and sisters in Obuasi, Bro Osei-Wusuansah said, the administration would establish an Endowment Fund to cater for welfare issues such as the payment of hospital and school fees.
“The enjoyment under the fund will be tied to regular attendance at council and court meetings,” he stressed.
Noble Lady
On her part, Sister Osei-Wusuansah said she will seek to ensure a better relationship with brothers so as to grow the Noble Order in Obuasi.
