The Supreme Knight, Sir Knight Charles L.L Cobb and the Grand Lady
MRL Dame Dr. Agatha Akua Bonney have taken serious notice of the
address to the nation by His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo,
president of the Republic of Ghana on Sunday, March 15, 2020, banning
all church activities, funerals and other public gatherings.
The Ghana Catholic Bishops’ Conference, based on the above has on
Monday, March 16, 2020 also issued further directives to the Catholic
Faithful in compliance with these directives.
Based on the foregoing, the Supreme Knight and the Grand Lady direct
that all Marshallan activities should be suspended for the next four
weeks, effective today.
Marshallans are encouraged to observe the basic precautionary measures
that will help minimize the spread of this deadly sars-cov-2 virus as well
as protect oneself from being infected with Covid-19. The Supreme Knight
and the Grand Lady strongly urge Marshallans to take seriously, the
guidelines for improved personal hygiene, issued by the Supreme
Physician.
Marshallans in other jurisdictions that have recorded cases of Covid-19
are strongly encouraged to comply with directives by their local
authorities.
May our Almighty and Merciful Father grant healing to the already
afflicted, console families bereaved from this affliction, and bring an end
to this deadly contagion.
