MAREDES-ECOBANK to launch Mathematical Sets project

THE media launch of this year’s Girls’ Mathematics Education project will take place at the National Catholic Secretariat on October 29, 2014 at 10am.

An initiative of the Marshallan Relief and Development Services (MAREDES), the Pan-African Bank, ECOBANK is supporting the project, which will see the distribution of more than 2,000 mathematical sets to girls in Junior High Schools in selected districts in all the 10 regions of Ghana.

According to the Executive Director of MAREDES, Sir Kt Derx Baffour, soon after the media launch, all component Regional Councils and Courts in Ghana will distribute the mathematical sets on behalf of MAREDES to the beneficiaries in the respective regions.

He called for active participation of all Marshallans to ensure that the programme impacted positively on the girl-child.
