Bro. Anthony Ekpedzor, the newly installed Grand Knight of Council No. 74 (Accra Central) and his counterpart, Sis. Anna Bernadette Nettey, Noble Lady of Court No. 67 (Accra Central) on Sunday, December 21, 2014 held a thanksgiving mass at the St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Kpehe-Accra, to thank God for their successful installation. The main celebrant at the Mass was Very Rev. Fr. Nelson Ted Adjakpey, the Parish Priest of the Church. The Very Rev. Fr. Nelson Ted Adjakpey blessed the Grand Knight and Noble Lady and urged them to lead in humility. The Grand Knight and Noble lady made a donation of an unspecified amount to the Parish to assist in its work.
The installation of the fourteenth Administration of Council No 74 (Accra Central) took place at St. Kizito Catholic Church Parish Hall, Nima-Accra on Saturday, December 13, 2014 and was conducted by an installation team made up of Sir Kt. Bro. Ato Clement Gordon as Installation Officer, W/Bro. Peter Kofi Wireko as Installation Secretary, Bro. Stephen Dowuona as Installation Guard, and Bro. Rev. Fr. Francis Oteng-Awuah as Installation Chaplain.
For the sisters, the installation which took place at the Holy Spirit Cathedral Parish Hall, Adabraka-Accra, was led by a team was made up of MRL Sis. Cecilia Clarke-Nortey as Installation Officer, RL Sis. Elizabeth Anderson-Yebuah as Installation Secretary, Sis. Agnes Mawuli as Installation Guard, and Very Rev. Fr. John K. Louis as Installation Chaplain.
After the thanksgiving mass the Grand Knight and Noble Lady hosted invited guests, sisters and brothers to a luncheon at the grounds of the Ghana Telecom University, Tesano-Accra. Sir Kt. Bro. F. Gonzalves Cosmas of Council 10 who proposed the toast for the successful reign of the GK and NL was happy that the St. Paul’s Catholic Church had produced two Grand Knights for 2015, namely Bro. Anthony Ekpedzor of Council 74 (Accra Central) and Bro. Selom Dziekpor of Council 10 (Accra). He prayed for successful reign for the two brothers. Sis. Agnes Mawuli of Court 67 in another toast hoped that Bro. Ekpedzor and Sis. Nettey would work hard as their predecessors and leave indelible marks in the history of Council No. 74 and Court No. 67.
