A Minute for Peace

 

The International Bureau of the International Council of Catholic Men (Unum Omnes) has requested all members to observe “A Minute for Peace” prayer on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 1pm.kemavor

It is to coincide with the second anniversary of the historical meeting between Pope Francis and the presidents of Israel and Palestine, held in the Vatican

“We want to offer everyone the opportunity, this sign, to encourage continuous prayer and commitment for peace and mercy, with a special intention for refugees who suffer every day the consequences of violence,” it said.

 

The head of the West African Bureau, Sir Kt Bro Anthony C. Kemavor, announced this at the Standing Committee meeting of the Knights of Marshall held in Sekondi on Saturday, June 3, 2017.

It is desired that all Marshallans would observe the minute’s prayer whereever they are.

Our Sisters are also encouraged to join in this prayer.

A minute for peace to answer concretely, in the daily life, to Pope Francis who often reminds us that peace is a skilled work

The “A Minute for Peace” prayer is on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 1pm. Let us all take note and act accordingly.
