Council No. 72 on Saturday, April 18, 2015 installed new officers for a two-year term from 2015 to 2017.
The Installation was performed by Sir Kt. Bro. H.A. Addo as installation officer, Bro. Benedict D. Akwetey as installation secretary, Bro Michael Ofori Gorman as installation guard and Bro. Thomas Tweneboa-Kodua as istallation chaplain.
Officers installed for the Seventh Administration of Council No. 72 were Bro. Emmanuel Amissah, Grand Knight; Bro. Paul Osei, Deputy Grand Knight; Bro. Philip Sampson Dankwah, Secretary; Bro. Attah Boamah, Secretary of Finance; Bro Francis Gyapong (IPGK), Treasurer; Bro. George Adarkwah, Captain of Sentries; Bro. Samuel Anyan, Inner Guard and Bro. Aboagye Nuamah, Outer Guard.
In his maiden address, Bro. Emmanuel Amissah paid tribute to the late W/Bro. Joseph Biney, the first Grand Knight of Council No. 72 and RGK of Eastern Region from 2011 to 2012, for encouraging him to join the Noble Order. The Grand Knight promised to do his best to increase membership of the Council.
At a reception organized later for brothers of Council No. 72 and sisters of Court No. 65 (Asamankese), Bro. Francis Gyapong, the Immediate Past Grand Knight, made a passionate appeal for brothers to support the Grand Knight so that the council can promptly meet its financial obligations to the Supreme Council and the Regional Council.
Sis. Elizabeth Dimake, the Noble Lady of Court No 65, pledged to co-operate with the Grand Knight so that together they can raise the image of the Noble Order in Asamankese.
