The 50th anniversary celebrations of the Noble Order in the Tamale Ecclesiastical Province (TEP) was climaxed with a Thanksgiving Mass at the Our Lady of Annunciation Cathedral in Tamale on Sunday, November 20, 2022.
The Apostolic Nuncio to Ghana, Most Rev. Henryk Mieczyslaw Jagodzinski, presided over the Mass which also coincided with the conferral of Papal awards on a Religious woman and nine lay persons of the Tamale Archdiocese.
Most Rev. Philip Naameh, the Metropolitan Archbishop of Tamale who is also President of the Tamale Ecclesiastical Province Pastoral Conference, Most Rev. Matthew Yitiereh, Bishop of Yendi Diocese, and 17 Priests including the Vicar General and Cathedral Administrator, Very Rev. Frs. Hilary Pogbeyir and Boniface Maasoayele, concelebrated the Mass.
The Supreme Knight, Sir Kt. Bro. Patrick Kobina Anumel and the Grand Lady, Most Respected Lady (MRL) Sis. Elizabeth Anderson-Yebuah who led a high-powered delegation from the Supreme Council and Grand Court to the reunion, were in attendance.
The year-long activities were on the theme: “The Knights and Ladies of Marshall, Discipleship and Evangelization in the Tamale Ecclesiastical Province.”
The Grand Lady on behalf of the Supreme Council and Grand Court, presented an undisclosed amount to the Noble Order in the TEP.
The Chairman of the 50th Anniversary Planning Committee, Worthy Bro. Malex Alebikiya, on behalf of Marshallans also presented an undisclosed amount to the Cathedral which was received by Very Rev. Fr. Maasoayele. Worthy Bro. Malex declared the reunion duly closed.
