THE single act displayed by the High Court Judge, Justice Jennifer Amanda Dodoo in refusing herself to be induced to sway the wheels of justice for monetary gains, has won her the admiration many people.
The members of the Ladies of Marshall, a society she joined barely a year, were full of praise for her to bringing honour not, only to herself and family, but also the society and thus lifting the image of the Noble Order of Knights and Ladies of Marshall.
Sister Beatrice Kan Ezumah, Noble Lady of Court 100 at Santasi where Sis Justice Dodoo is member, said she was very elated when the news broke out that a member of her court was one of names on the list of incorruptible judges released by Anas Amereyaw Anas .
HONOUR TO THE COURT
She said although Court 100 is the newest court in the Ashanti region “our name is fast spreading wide and her singular act has further lifted the name of our court.”
“She has really raised the image of the society high and exemplified what the church has been teaching all this while,” an elated Noble Lady said.
Asked if she was surprised about the news, Sis Kan Ezumah, said she was not really surprised by the news.
Although relatively new in the order, she said the high court judge has always displayed humility and meekness and treated everyone with respect.
PERSONALITY
According to her, Sis Justice Dodoo has never allowed her social status to influence her association with fellow sisters and always last to contribute to discussion at court meeting.
“Although she is well learned, she is never in the rush to make contributions at meetings but whenever she is called upon, one can tell the depth of her knowledge,” she said.
She also praised her punctuality and involvement in Court activities which she said was commensurate to someone of her status.
Sis Kan Ezumah said although she is resident in Accra, “she is regular at Court meetings and takes part in every activity of the society.”
“Am glad that the society is attracting people of such caliber and this will even draw more people to it,” she said.
ADVICE
Sis Kan Ezumah advised young women and Ghanaians in general to take a cue for the example and to always do the right thing at all time, “you never know who is watching you.
“Be the change you want to see in society,” she concluded.
