Worth Brother Patrick Kobina Anumel was elected and installed the 33rd Deputy Supreme Knight (D. S. K) of the Noble Order of the Knights of Marshall at the just-ended Supreme Council meeting held in Sekondi on Saturday 14th September, 2019.
MARSHALLAN ACTIVITIES
Supreme Council Level
W/ Bro Anumel was formerly the Chairman of Marshallan Savings & Investment Fund (MaSIF). He was later appointed to the position of Chairman of Finance & Investment Committee having oversight responsibility over all the Funds of the Noble Order, including MaSIF, MST and MMF.
Before his installation as DSK, Worthy Brother Anumel was the CEO of Equity Development Consortium (EDeC), the newly established Company of the Noble Order.
Eastern Regional Council
W/Bro Patrick Anumel held the following Regional Council positions: Regional Secretary of Finance, Regional Auditor, and Deputy Regional Grand Knight.
In 2012, Patrick Anumel was installed the Regional Grand Knight for the Eastern Region.
During his term in office, he arranged and procured a rental premises for the Secretariat of the Eastern Regional Council and Court. And equipped it with Laptop, Printer, Cabinet and Furniture. W/Bro Anumel arranged and instituted a 2-day residential course in Mystic Psychology for all Readers & Lecturers in the Region. He also introduced regular training for Guards and Sentries.
Adult Council
Patrick Anumel was initiated into the Noble Order in July 1985, some 34 years ago, for Council 45, Akosombo. He was immediately appointed the Organist. He later became the Secretary of Finance and was elected Deputy Grand Knight in 1992. He was installed Grand Knight of Council 45 in 1994.
CHURCH ACTIVITIESWorthy Bro Anumel has played various roles in the Catholic Church everywhere he had been on transfer, including places like Sunyani, Akosombo, Tamale, Madina, and Sakumono.He had played roles like Choirmaster/Organist, Parish Counselor, and Marriage Counselor.
CAREER
W/Bro Patrick Anumel started his career in Banking and Finance with Agric. Dev. Bank (ADB) as Credit/Financial Analyst and rose through the ranks to become a Branch Manager and later Senior Manager. After 20 years service with ADB, Patrick Anumel joined Cal Bank as Head of Banking Services Dept. He was later elevated to the executive position of General Manager. After 9 years successful career experience at Cal Bank, Patrick Anumel moved on to International Bank Liberia, first as the General Manager and after one year elevated to the position of CEO. Patrick returned to Ghana after 4.5 years in Liberia and took up a contract with the erstwhile 1st National as CEO, with the mandate to restructure the institution into a Universal Bank. This mandate was successfully executed in 2014 and Patrick Anumel retired from active service in March 2016. He now has more time for his private consultancy business, Church and Marshallan Work.
EDUCATION &TRAINING
Patrick Anumel was born in Sekondi, and attended Essikado Catholic Primary School, and Ketan Catholic Middle School. He then proceeded to St. Augustine’s College in Cape Coast, where he studied and passed his O-Level and A- Level examinations. He then entered the University of Ghana, where he acquired his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees. W/Bro Anumel was trained in banking at HSBC Bank in London, Citibank in Kenya and World Bank in South Africa. Patrick has attended a number of international courses, workshops, and seminars in Banking and Finance.
FAMILY
W/Bro Patrick Anumel is married to RL Sis Clara Rosaline Anumel, Grand Coordinator Tertiary Institutions (GCTI) and Educational Consultant.
They have two children: Anthony Lucian, an engineer in the USA and Judith Helena, a Banker in Ghana.
