Bro Dr Adu Appiah-Kubi is Best Doctor for 2018 at KATH

THE Brong Ahafo Central Regional Physician of the Knights of Marshall, Bro. Dr Adu Appiah-Kubi, has been adjudged the Best Doctor (Senior Category) of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) for 2018.IMG-20190116-WA0071 (1)

The award was conferred on him by the Board and Management of the Hospital at the 2018 Best Staff Awards held on January 16, 2019.

Bro Dr Appiah-Kubi, is a Specialist Obstetrician at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), Kumasi.

He is also pursuing a fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the West African College of Surgeons and a fellowship in Gynaecologic Oncology with the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Bro Dr Appiah-Kubi also lectures at the School of Medicine at the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS), Ho.

Bio

He was born and raised at Drobo in the Brong Ahafo Region, where he had all his basic education before going on to St. James Seminary Senior High School in Sunyani for his Secondary Education.

He graduated from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) as a Medical Doctor.

IMG-20190117-WA0005Bro Dr Appiah-Kubi was initiated into the Noble Order in 2013 by Council 14, Obuasi, before later transferring to Council 116, Sunyani Penkwase.

He went on to become the second Grand Knight of Council 116 from 2016 to 2018.

Bro Dr Appiah-Kubi is the President of St James Old Boys Association and is married with two children.
