MEMBERS of the Marshallan fraternity in Nandom, Council 53 and Court 54 held their second annual home-coming during the yuletide.
The two-day programme, which ended with a mass at the St. Theresa Minor Basilica in Nandom, started with a travellers Mass followed by a Plenary Session during which a thought provoking talk was delivered by a Past Regional Grand Knight W/Brother Adrian K. Samson.
It was on the theme, “Enforcing a United front for the development of the Marshallan Fraternity in Nandom”. Sir Knight Peter Kuuire, PSK and MRL Sis. Benedett Dasobri, PGL co-chaired the Plenary Session of the function.
Visiting brothers and Sisters from various parts of Ghana were in attendance making the occasion a re-union of members of the Noble Order who hailed from that part of the Country.
The Noble Lady of Court 103, Pokuasi, Sis. Frances Nyuzagl and Worthy Bro. Charles L. L. Cobb, Assistant Supreme Propagandist were notable among the visitors from Councils and Courts in Greater Accra, Central Region, Brong Ahafo and those of the three Regional Councils of the North.
Participants visited the on-going 200 seating capacity temple project of the Council and Court. The temple project, which is at roofing level, is expected to be completed before the next home coming programme scheduled for this year. An appeal for funds for the project yielded GHc 9,272.
W/Bro. Cobb commended the Council and Court for the successful initiative which he said was a great opportunity for brothers and sisters in the diaspora to fraternise with those based at home.
He said the test of a true brother or sister was when a member in need was not deserted by his/her Brothers/Sisters.
He appealed to those in the diaspora to generously support the Temple project as it would be a proud monument for all Marshallans who hailed from that part of the country.
