THE Dansoman branch of the Knights and Ladies of Marshall (Council 71 and Court 63), has donated six computers worth GHc13,800 to the SVD Novitiate at Nkwatia-Kwahu in the Eastern Region.
The computers, which came with a 20”inch flat-screen monitors, a software package with on site installation, are to help in the formation of future priests at the Novitiate.
It was in line with an appeal for computers from Rev Fr Andy Obeng to the Noble Order at Dansoman for support.
The Immediate Past Grand Knight, Bro Dr Henry Awuvri and his sister counterpart, Sister Margaret Awumee handed over the computers at a colourful ceremony during church service at the St Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Dansoman.
Present at the handing over ceremony were the Superior General of the SVD Rev. Fr. Heinz Kulüke,SVD who was on a visit from Germany; the Ghanaian Provincial Superior Rev. Fr.George Clement Angmor,SVD; Rev Fr. Andy Obeng, SVD – the Novice Master of the SVD Novitiate ; Very Rev Fr. Patrick Ofori,SVD – the Parish Priest of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.
It was also witnessed by other Marshallans at the parish.
