Bro. Botse-Baidoo And Sis. Esther Tia Head Council 89 And Court 85, Sakumono

Bro. Michael Botse-Baidoo and Sis. Esther Tia, have been installed as the new Grand Knight and Noble Lady for Council 89 and Court 85, Sakumono respectively.

The Deputies are Bro. Rubin Agbewornu and Sis. Rosina Acolatse with Bro. Dniel Ohene Darko and Sis. Paula Vieta as Secretaries.

They were installed on December 13, 2014.

The installation team for Council 89 was led by Sir Kt. Bro. Charles Brew Hammond. He was assisted by W/B Michael Mensah, Installation Secretary; Bro. Wisdom Abotsikumah, Installation guard and W/B Very Rev. Fr. Joseph Henry Mensah as Installation Chaplain.

RL Sis. Mary Phyllis Markham led the installation team for Court 85 and was assisted by Sisters Cecilia Owusu Prempeh, Installation Secretary and Margaret Dodor Installation Sentry.

In their maiden addresses, Bro. Baidoo and Sis. Tia spoke of their resolve to chart progressive policies in order to further advance the aspirations of the Noble Order espoused on Unity, Charity, Fraternity and Service.

In attendance at both council and court were officers, brothers and sisters of Council 110 and Court 106 Breman Esikuma led by Grand Knight Rev. Fr. Daniel Neyoh and Sis. Paulina Asare-Adjei

The special guest of honour at a joint Banquet after the installation was the Supreme Knight Sir. Kt. Bro. Joseph Ekow Paintsil, who among other things, praised officers and brothers of both council and court for their immense contributions to the cause of the Noble Order.

He exhorted the newly installed officer bearers to justify the confidence reposed in them by working in humility to advance the aspiration of the Founding Fathers of the Noble Order.

In a homily at a thanksgiving Mass held at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Sakumono, Rev. Fr. Daniel Neyoh, urged the congregation to focus their lives on things that will make them true soldiers of Christ and shun materialism as a shortcut to happiness.

He declared; “The problem of our world today is that many of us think that you can rejoice only when good things come your way. And that is why a lot of us get frustrated and at times become faithless when hard times come our ways”.

Other office bearers for Council 89 include Bros. Michael Agbodza, Assistant Secretary; Paul Yao Asafo, Secretary of Finance; George Essien, Assistant Secretary of Finance; Andrew Ackah, Communications Officer, Patrick Ato Eshun, Auditor and Emmanuel Kweku Oduro, Marshallan Security Trust Officer.

Office bearers for Court 85 include Sisters Kafui Bebli, Treasurer, Mina Addo, Auditor, Margaret Rose Thompson, Reader and Lecturer and Victoria Adu, Communications Officer.
