The Christmas season has once again dawned on us. We need to rejoice over the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ through whose mercies we continue to be alive today.
The message eloquently announced; GLORY TO GOD IN HIGH HEAVEN, PEACE ON EARTH TO THOSE IN WHOM THE FAVOUR RESTS.” – (Luke 2:4), should remind us of our obligation to live in peace and harmony with one another and with creation.
As Marshallans and soldiers of Christ who have sworn to defend the faith at all times, the
Christmas Season should strengthen us to continue to live lives devoid of anger, grudge, malice and divisiveness. Added to this stance, is the need for us to continue to pursue the evangelization agenda.
Our just ended 90th Anniversary Celebration in 2016 should provide us an opportunity to reflect on the past years and the explore ways of matching forward as true soldiers of Christ towards our Centenary Celebration in 2026.
We are sure you are all aware of the 9th Re-union Conference of the Noble Order which is
scheduled to take place at the University of Ghana, Legon from 27th to 29th July 2018. Our expectation is that we will all meet there to participate in this family gathering of Brothers and Sisters in Christ from all Councils and Courts and help us reflect on the environment as stewards of God’s creation.
As we enter into the New Year we pray that we will all be guided by the underlining principle of Christianity especially fosterling love, good-will and peace to all men of good will.
