Ghana and for that matter, the Supreme Council was nominated to serve on the board of Unum Omnes for six years. The Supreme Council of the Knights of Marshall will nominate its representative to serve on the board.
Sir Kt Prah said in an interview with marshallan.org that “it is good feeling and historical that this is happening in the 67th year of the life of Unum Omnes.”
He said there were many who thought it could never happen with so few African countries being active in the organisation saying that only four African countries – Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya and Uganda – were present at the on-going assembly.
“But you see, when by the grace of God you perform well at a job, no one can deny you the benefits arising thereof,” he said.
Sir Kt Prah was the Vice President of Unum Omnes before the elections last, Wednesday, September 30, 2015.
Ukraine, which had initially sought to contest for the position, withdrew its candidate at the last minute.
Sir Kt Prah, thus garnered all the 34 votes that were cast.
The general assembly of Unun Omnes is due to end on October 3, 2015.
