As we pass through lent in the run up to the day when our Saviour Jesus Christ found himself crucified on the Cross…. even though he had committed no crime.
With this in mind I was saddened last week to hear of the killing of fifty Men, Women and Children as they prayed together in two mosques in Christ church New Zealand.
I have also been saddened by attacks in recent times on innocent people as they go about their daily business in such places as the Horn of Africa, Southern Africa and West Africa.
In this Lenten period I ask all Knights to pray that God the Father will intercede to rid the World of these violent and unprovoked attacks against innocent people.
We have God’s promise that goodness will always prevail over evil.
I always believe that most Human Beings are good people and Satan raises his hand in only a small way but that does have an impact on the World.
In this period I ask all Knights to reflect on the suffering of Jesus but also on the sufferings of our fellow man.
