THE sod-cutting for commencement of the Marshallan Business Complex will take place on May 3, 2015 (Sir James Marshalls’ Day) at the Marshallan Centre in Sekondi.
All councils are expected to make donations towards the project through their regional grand knights who are expected to attend the sod-cutting ceremony.
The Supreme Knight, Sir Kt Ekow Paintsil, who announced this in Sunyani on March 14, 2015, therefore, appealed to brothers to support his administration to realize the dream of having a building that would befit the status of the Noble Order.
The Supreme Knight was addressing brothers of Council 29, Sunyani during a three-day visit to the Brong Ahafo Region.
He was accompanied by W/Bro Albert Salia, Supreme Information Technologist, W/Bro Charles Cobb, Assistant Supreme Propagandist for Ashanti and Brong Ahafo regions.
The immediate result of the appeal of the Supreme Knight was a cash donation of GH¢ 4,000 by six brothers to support the Supreme Knight’s project.
Electronic communication
Sir Kt Paintsil urged Councils and Courts to use the Marshallan email addresses created to enhance effective communication and cutting down administrative cost.
He said the Supreme Council had stopped the practice of corresponding with councils through printed materials and instead use the e-mail addresses of councils.
He, therefore, urged Grand Knights and Secretary of Councils to activate their Council’s email address and regularly visit their inbox for their mails.
Sir Kt Paintsil spoke about an active website being operated by the Noble Order and urged Marshallans to regularly visit the site, www.marshallan.org which was officially launched at the Holy Spirit Cathedral in Adabraka-Accra on Thursday, March 5, 2015.
He appealed to brothers to on daily basis go to the website to be abreast with developments in the Noble Order and the Church in Ghana and elsewhere.
The Supreme Knight stressed that the website was to help the Noble Order carry out the great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ as spelt out in Matthew 28:18-20 where Jesus said “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
He used the used the opportunity to dilate on a number of policies of his administration, including the adoption of the Strategic Plan for the Noble Order, the introduction of a new uniform (with sword) for guards, and the construction of the Marshallan Business Complex.
W/Bro. Albert Salia, SIT, in a practical demonstration took brothers through how to access and use features on the website.
He said the website was to provide an active and interactive area for news update by the Supreme Council, various Regional Councils, Councils, Courts, Dioceses and others. Brothers and sisters can use the platform to discuss and comment on news articles.
