SUPREME KNIGHT urges Marshallans to support the clergy

The Supreme Knight Sir Knight Bro. Ernest Amoako-Arhen has stressed the need for members of the Noble Order of the Knights of Marshall to support the priests and religious in their communities in their task of evangelization.
He pointed out that as knights of the Noble Order they have the responsibility to show keen interest in the growth and development of the Catholic Church
He was, however, quick to add that support for priests did not mean that Marshallans do not point out the mistakes of the clergy .
He was speaking at separate meetings of councils 113 and 30 as part of a familiarization visit to the two councils on March 11, 2017. He was accompanied by Sir Kt Bro Albert Salia, Supreme IT Officer and W/Bro Charles Cobb, Supreme Propagandist.
Sir Kt. Bro. Amoako-Arhen told members of the two councils that as Marshallans they constitute the pillars of the Church and they must lead good Christian lives and let their lights shine everywhere they are for others to emulate.
He admonished them to spend at least 30 minutes every day to read their bibles because that is the surest way they can be in tune with their Christian virtues adding that the bible is a tool with which they can effectively fight against the devil and other enemies.
He stressed the need for Marshallans to protect the sanctity of their marriages by demonstrating love and respect for their wives.
The Supreme Knight asked the officers to try to be abreast of the rituals .
In the case of Grand Knights and their deputies he said they should commit most of the contents the rituals to memory to avoid mistakes during council sessions.
He advised brothers who contest elections and lose to accept the majority decision and desist from begrudging some brothers as the cause of their defeat.
The Supreme Knight asked the executives not to hesitate to recommend hard working brothers for elevation.
The high light of the meetings of the two councils was the inauguration of two regional committees by the North West Regional Grand Knight Worthy Bro. Valentine Domapielle .
During the meeting of Council 113 , the youngest council in the region he inaugurated a six member Regional Investment Committee which was established in 2014 to identify creative ways of mobilizing funds and appropriately investing the funds on behalf of the Regional Council with the intension of improving on the financial status of the Regional Council.
During the meeting of Council 30 the oldest council in the region the Regional Grand Knight inaugurated a six member Regional Council Committee on Fraternal Relations which was also established in 2014. As part of its core duties the committee is to help promote networking among brothers in the Region and beyond , create a platform where brothers can be of support to each other and find innovative ways of promoting brotherliness in the Noble Order of the Knights of Marshall in the North West Regional Council.
Worthy Bro, Domapielle emphasized the need for each of the committees to start work immediately and endeavour to live up to expectation.
