Sir Kt Dr Bandoh joins the Order above

A stalwart of the Noble Order, Sir Kt. Bro. Brig. Gen. Dr. J. K. Bandoh , has passed on to the Order above.

He died in the morning of December 13, 2014 while preparing to attend Council meeting at Council 10 Temple.

The one-week celebration his passing will take place on December 20, 2014 at his residence, 64 Patrice Lumumba Road, Airport residential area from 6am to 6pm.

The late Sir Kt Dr Bandoh, a very active member in Council 10, was part of the Marshallan fraternity who attended the nonagenarian celebration of Sir Kt Commander Lawrence Owusu Akyaw Prempeh at the Christ the King Parish, Cantonments on December 6, 2014.

Born September 24, 1930 in Asante Bekwai, Sir Kt Dr Bandoh was initiated into Council 10 on September 29, 1973. He held various  positions in Council 10 and was elevated as Past Grand Knight (PGK)  in 1987. In recognition of his hard work coupled with his immense contribution to the country as a medical doctor, the Supreme Council appointed him Supreme Physician, a position he held for some years.

Sir Kt Dr Bandoh was elevated to the position of Honorary Past Supreme Knight (HPSK) in 2000.

By profession, he was a physician specialist.

He worked for many years at the 37 Military Hospital and became the Medical Director of the hospital, for several years.

In recognition of his contribution to the Ghana Armed Forces, especially the medical field, the military authorities named a ward, the Bandoh ward after him.
