MARSHALLAN RELIEF & DEVELOPMENT SERVICES (MAREDES) DONATES TO STUDENTS OF ST. AGARTHA’S GIRLS’ SCHOOL IN AKIM SWEDRU

 

Akim-Swedru, Eastern Region:

 

On behalf of Sir Knight Eddie Prah, the Chairman of Marshallan Relief & Development Services (MAREDES), a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) of Knights and Ladies of Marshall, the Eastern Regional Council and Court made a presentation of 200 pieces of mathematical sets to students of St.Agartha’s Girls’ School in Akim Swedru in the Eastern Region. This is part of MAREDES’ objective of assisting the girl child in pursuing further education for the advancement of society. MAREDES’ acquisition of the mathematical sets was sponsored by Ecobank Ghana Ltd.

 

The picture shows Wor/Bro. Charles Appiasi, Immediate Past Regional Grand Knight (E/R), making the donation to Sister Lucy Sasu, HDR, the Headmistress of St. Agartha’s Girls’ School. Others in the picture include Brother Benedict Akwetey, Asst. Regional Secretary, second from the left in the front row, Sir Knight H.A. Addo, eighth from the right in the front row, Rev. Fr. Chris Deh, Parish Priest of Akim Swedru, sixth from the right. Other brothers and sisters of the marshallan order as well as some teachers and students were present at the function.
