This year’s Marshall Moreau Murat memorial lectures of the Knights and Ladies of Marshall takes place at the College of Science Auditorium, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi on Wednesday, August 13 and Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 5pm prompt.
The President of the Pontifical Council for Peace and Justice, His Eminence, Peter Cardinal Appiah Turkson, will deliver this year’s lectures on the topic, “Citizenship in church and state relations”. The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei-Tutu II will be the guest of honour with Sir Kt Dr Kwame Donkor Fordwor as chairman for the two-day lectures.
In an interview with marshallan.org, the Supreme Knight of the Knights of Marshall, Sir Knight Ekow Paintsil, appealed to Marshallans in the Ashanti and Brong Ahafo regions to turn up in their numbers.
He said Marshallans in other parts of the country who were interested could also attend.
He, however, appealed to those travelling from afar to make arrangements for accommodation on the campus as there were a number of hostels and guest houses available
