DONATION TO FORMATION OF MARY IMMACULATE CONCEPTION AGED REV SISTERS AT DAFFIAMA

MEMBERS of Council 113 and Court 108, Mangu, Wa, have presented assorted items to the Mary Immaculate Conception Aged Home at Daffiama in the Upper West Region.

They also presented an undisclosed amount to the Home.

The home accommodates retired and aged Reverend Sisters.

The Grand Knight of Council 113, Bro Amatus Sanikuu and the Noble Lady of Court 108, Sis Helen Aakyiir led the Marshallans to present the items.

Bro Sanikuu in his remarks, said the presentation was in appreciation of the selfless dedicated service of the aged and retired Rev. Sisters.

He said not only did they evangelise for the growth of the Universal Catholic Church but were also rendering social services to the general public across the country as professional teachers, nurses and agriculturalists.

He explained that it was in that vein that Council 113 and Court 108 of the Knights and Ladies of Marshall in the St. Cecilia Parish at Mangu, Wa, used their June Novena proceeds to buy the assorted items to present to the aged Rev. Sisters.

That, he also explained, was in line with the tenets of Noble Order.
