Christmas message – President IACK 2014

On writing this I reflect on the second reading for the 3rd Sunday of Advent I which St. Paul says:
“Be happy at all times; pray constantly; and for all things give thanks to God, because this is what God expects us to do in Christ Jesus.”
At this time of Christmas is easy for many of us to be happy and give thanks for what we have – but spare a thought for the millions in the world at this moment who are not in such a position, who must find it difficult to be happy and thankful in the face of disease, hunger, violence and loss. It is these people that need us to pray constantly.
We need to be particularly mindful of our brothers in countries where violence against Christians is a constant threat, where disease, such as Ebola, sits close on their borders and where storms leave many homeless. It is a time for us to be generous in our support and our prayers for in need so all may know happiness and love.
God grant you the light of Christmas – Which is Faith;

The warmth of Christmas – Which is love;

The righteousness of Christmas – which is Justice;

The belief of Christmas- Which is truth;

The all of Christmas- Which is Christ.
Brothers I wish all of you a Happy and Holy Christmas and a New Year filled with many blessings
Fraternally

David Huppatz

President
I wish to join with the President in wishing all members of IACK a Happy and Peaceful Christmas and a grace-filled New Year.
